10.00 – 10.10 Welcome and introductions

10.10 – 11.40 Practical workshop led by Krista Vuori, who was Co-Director, alongside Scott Graham, on Into The Light in 2019, and has movement directed many other works with Frantic and beyond. Krista is originally from Finland and works as a Movement Director, Director and Performer in theatre, dance and circus.


An energetic workshop exploring the principles of Frantic’s method of devising and introducing ways of working physically. The 90-minute workshop will begin with a thorough and energetic warm up, followed by skills exercises, ensemble work and an exploration of creative tasks. Bring a bottle of water and wear loose and comfortable clothing and trainers The company advise NO jeans, NO jewellery and NO short skirts


11.40 – 12.00 Tea and coffee

12.00 – 13.00 Open Space facilitated by Gemma Woffinden, Youth Theatre Director, Leeds Playhouse

13.00- 14.00 Lunch

14.00 – 15.30 Theatre and Young People panel discussion and Q and A chaired by Zoe Arnison and Josh Ward of the For/With/By Young Consortium.
