On the 23rd April, we attended Our Creative Future, hosted by Creative UK and Land of Hope and Story - launching the Creative UK mamifesto ahead of the UK General Election. The manifesto sets out how, with the right effort, the Cultural and Creative Industries can further generate social and economic prosperity across the country.
You can read the full manifesto here.
The DTEA is please to see that the first manifesto ask seeks to grow the workforce of tomorrow by prioritising creative skills and education. There are no problems we can solve in the future if we don't first address them in education.
The DTEA encourages you to share the manifesto with your networks, and to raise it with your local MP, or election candidates when the election is called.
